Their voices together.
How beautiful…
Looks like Vincent’s got himself a Babicz guitar! Woo! Cool guitarists use Babicz.
Hahaha

Music at its best.
I’m not usually a big fan of loops, but man… these guys know how to use them.
love is free
in time, in peace
and now is here
this life, this dream
you know how it feels but… is it all in your mind?
and you know how it feels to be pushed and pulled through your life
and sometimes it seems like there is life in your eyes
and all that i know is i love you
yes i love you
and it feels like we’re already flying
but the air is too thin and we’re dying
the clouds all around take us higher
while the world far below is on fire
i hold out my hand just to touch you
‘cause all that i know is i love you
a vision, a promise of heaven
a reason for being forever, forever
you’re just a whisper away
we’ve come too far to turn back
this is where we stand and face it
this is who we are, one step closer
into thin air we will go there
we’ve come too far to turn back
this is where we stand and face it
i feel you breathe
you’re just a whisper away
one step closer…

Haven’t done one of these in a while…

(The Silent Enigma… Old-school Anathema, back when they weren’t all that good. It’s still cool to get to hear the original versions of songs featured on Falling Deeper)

(pre-ordered the limited vinyl edition of Anathema’s weather systems)

(The Cat Empire’s Two Shoes special edition; got this during their show on Saturday, good stuff good stuff)

(pre-ordered no-man’s upcoming live album+DVD, love and endings)

(and last but not least, Quebec’s very best and unfortunately deceased 70’s band, Harmonium’s self-titled debut)
The new Anathema song is really good. I’m going to have to preorder the album that is coming out in April. I hope the rest of the album is of the same quality.
Anathema. They’re amazing.

(Anathema quickly became one of my favourite bands last year after I’ve heard them live @ Blackfield’s show in Montreal… they’re brilliant)

(Marco Minnemann plays for Steven Wilson’s solo tour. He’s definitely one of the best drummers I’ve ever heard, and apparently he’s a great multi-instrumentalist… I’ll find that out when this album gets in my mailbox!)
