Got my first PS3 Platinum Trophy playing this game. A first of many? We’ll see; I seriously doubt it, since it took me several too many hours to get it. Great graphics, great FMVs, great story, innovative gameplay although it does get repetitive after 70 hours in (but what doesn’t…?) a couple’ trophies were boring to get, but that’s a minor flaw. If I had to rate the game, I’d give it approximately 8.5/10; and a bonus completely-subjective 1 for a total of 9.5/10 just because Vashyron is the Japanese version of myself.
First post here. Not too sure how this works and where that will lead me, or if anyone will end up reading, but whatevs!
It’s funny how random things can stick to people’s mind so much… and how hearing it in public can completely alter a situation. I was at a restaurant with friends earlier today (Sumo Ramen 1007 St-Laurent in Montreal, Qc, Canada, H2Z 1J4, etc, for whoever’s curious) and suddenly, we all stopped talking when some dude sitting at another table said “Do a barrel roll”. We, obviously, all recognized the good ol’ quote from Star Fox’s Peppy, the old & wise space-rabbit; so we completely forgot what we were talking about and started talking about that. (Not to mention how hard it was not to laugh too hard when one of them started saying “You’ve got an enemy on your tail! Use… DA BREAKS!!!”)
I seriously think it’s both fantastic and somehow quite sad that we, as human beings, can bond and relate to each other with such simple things… anytime, anywhere. Just do a barrel roll.
